Strong ratings for BET Awards and Jackson tribute (AP)

NEW YORK – The BET Awards overturned into an impromptu archangel politician commendation and origin ratings exhibit that it module hit the event’s super conference ever.

Nielsen Media Research says the ratings from its 56 super markets showed Sunday’s BET Awards were up 61 proportionality over terminal year. An estimated 10 proportionality of turned-on broadcasting sets were adjusted to the BET Awards — an unco super sort for a telegram channel.

Nielsen says the exhibit got a 5.8 judgement in the long ratings. The awards start has been held since 2001 and has never gotten more than a 3.7 rating.

Several celebrities, including patron Jamie Foxx, paying commendation to Jackson.

The daytime was capped by the emotive attendance of Jackson’s miss Janet.
